Current through Vol. 42, No. 1, September 16, 2024

(a) Usually within thirty (30) days after receipt of a petition for a hearing, there shall be mailed to all participating parties a notice of pre-hearing conference if all outstanding preliminary motions have been resolved.

(b) The pre-hearing conference is for the purpose of informally resolving the conflict, if possible. It will be conducted by the hearing examiner. In the event resolution is not accomplished, the pre-hearing conference should result in identification of the legal issues and disputed facts; resolution of scheduling of discovery; and exchange of names of witnesses and exhibits list. A pre-hearing conference order form addressing these issues will accompany the pre-hearing conference and should be completed by the parties to the extent possible, before the pre-hearing conference.
