Oklahoma Administrative Code
Title 1 - EXECUTIVE ORDERS
Section 1:2022-4

Universal Citation: OK Admin Code 1:2022-4
Current through Vol. 42, No. 1, September 16, 2024

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Sections 1 and 2 of Article VI of the Oklahoma Constitution, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in honor of the 27th anniversary of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.

We remember the 168 individuals who lost their lives, including 19 children, and the more than 850 others who were injured that Wednesday morning, as well as the hundreds of first responders who risked their lives to rescue, treat, and serve the survivors. As the world watched, Oklahomans banded together in a community-wide display of noble humanity, known as The Oklahoma Standard. Today, Oklahomans remember anew the compassion of those from around the world who were involved in the rescue and recovery, and the tremendous outpouring of goodwill by countless others.

This Executive Order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, which shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of State government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 18th day of April, 2022.

BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA

J. Kevin Stitt

ATTEST:

Brian Bingman

Secretary of State
