EXECUTIVE ORDER 2022-24

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., on Monday, October 3, 2022, to honor the life and legacy of former state lawmaker Evelyn "Kay" Dudley.

Former State Senator Dudley had an extraordinary record of leadership and knowledge that exemplified her faithful and honorable lifetime commitment to service. She was grateful to serve the constituents of State Senate District 44 and former Governor Frank Keating as his Director of Appointments from 1995 - 2003. A lady of devout faith, Kay was most proud of her family - her husband, who proceeded her in death, their three children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The former lawmaker's funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. October 3, 2022.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on this 30 th day of September 2022.
