EXECUTIVE ORDER 2022-12

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Monday, May 30, 2022, in recognition of Memorial Day, a day set aside to honor and remember those who gave the full measure of sacrifice in defense of our freedoms. As we pray for our military heroes, we remember the thousands of Gold Star families in Oklahoma and across the nation who feel their loss daily. Oklahoma pledges its endless respect and gratitude to our Gold Star families. May God continue to bless and protect our active service members and our veterans.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 27 th day of May, 2022.
