EXECUTIVE ORDER 2021-14

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Sections 1 and 2 of Article VI of the Oklahoma Constitution, in recognition of Peace Officers Memorial Day, direct that appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021, to acknowledge our hardworking law enforcement officers and in honor of Federal, State, and local officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. I encourage all Oklahomans to honor our fallen officers by celebrating their faithful service to the public, by remembering their dedication to duty and by renewing our commitment to stand with their brothers and sisters who are still on watch.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capitol Assets Management who shall cause the provision of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 11th day of May, 2021.
