I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019, to honor former state lawmaker Earl Garrison. Mr. Garrison honorably served Oklahoma State Senate District 9 from 2004 - 2016. He was a concerned and diligent legislator who served as minority whip and assistant minority whip for the Democratic minority leader.

Mr. Garrison will be remembered for his love of public education, ranching, God and country. He is survived by his wife, Faye, his children and grandchildren.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on this 14 th day of June, 2019
