I, Todd Lamb, Acting Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, to honor state lawmaker Claudia Griffith, who died on Saturday, July 14, 2018.

Griffith represented House District 45 and worked tirelessly on issues related to health care and education. As a member of the Oklahoma Veterans Pilot Program, she worked to improve services for our veterans. She was a concerned and hardworking legislator. She is survived by her husband, Jim, and three children. She will be remembered for her thoughtful, kind and passionate advocacy for her district and our state.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on this 16th day of July, 2018.
