Oklahoma Administrative Code
Title 1 - EXECUTIVE ORDERS
Section 1:2015-20

Universal Citation: OK Admin Code 1:2015-20
Current through Vol. 41, No. 13, March 15, 2024

I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct that appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State Capitol property at half-staff from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, to honor President Abraham Lincoln.

President Abraham Lincoln believed that we are, at heart, one Nation and one people. At a time when America was torn apart and our very future was in doubt, he knew our country was more than a collection of States, and that we shared a bond that would not break. One hundred fifty years after President Lincoln's death, Americans join together across the Country to honor his memory and celebrate the freedom for which he gave his last full measure of devotion.

This Executive Order shall be forwarded to the Department of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of State government.

IN WITNESS WHERE OF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 15th day of April, 2015.

BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE

STATE OF OKLAHOMA

Mary Fallin

ATTEST:

Chris Benge

Secretary of State
