I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, by the authority vested in me pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 of Article VI of the Oklahoma Constitution hereby establish an Executive Transition Team for the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure.

House Bill 1467, which I signed into law on May 10, 2013, transferred the duties for licensure of counselors from the Oklahoma Department of Health to a newly created agency, the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure. This State Board will not exist statutorily until November 1, 2013. In order to facilitate a seamless transition and to allow for the continued, uninterrupted services, the Executive Transition Team will assist with the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure during this transitional period.

I hereby designate the Secretary of Health and Human Services to select the transition team members and to oversee this transition. This Executive Order shall be distributed to the Secretary of Health and Human Services who shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented. The Executive Transition Team will automatically dissolve on November 30, 2013.
