I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, by virtue of the Oklahoma Constitution and the laws of the State of Oklahoma, hereby grant a stay of the execution of Garry Thomas Allen of thirty (30) days from the date of the scheduled execution, February 16, 2012. This stay is granted in order for this office to thoroughly evaluate the recommendation of clemency by the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board.

In accordance with 22 O.S. Section 1001.1(G), I hereby direct that, in the event clemency is not granted, the sentence of death be carried out on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

This Executive Order shall be forwarded to the Director of the Oklahoma Department of

Corrections and the Oklahoma Attorney General who shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 9th day of February, 2012.
