Oklahoma Administrative Code
Title 1 - EXECUTIVE ORDERS
Section 1:2011-52

Universal Citation: OK Admin Code 1:2011-52
Current through Vol. 41, No. 13, March 15, 2024

I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011, to honor former Oklahoma State Senator Olin Branstetter and his wife Paula, Oklahoma State University women's basketball head coach Kurt Budke, and assistant women's basketball coach Miranda Serna, who died in a plane crash in Perry County, Arkansas, on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

The loss of Oklahoma citizens is a heavy burden for Oklahomans to bear. The flying of the flags at half staff is a symbol Oklahomans have to remember those who died.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Director of Central Services who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 18th day of November, 2011.

BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA

Mary Fallin

ATTEST:

Michelle R. Day

Assistant Secretary of State
