Chapter 14 of the International Plumbing Code, 2021 edition, as incorporated by reference and modified in Section 101.1.1 of this code, is further modified as follows:

(A) Replace Section 1401.1 with the following:

1401.1 Scope. The content of this model code chapter has been deleted. Subsurface graywater soil absorption systems connected to nonpotable water from on-site water reuse systems are considered process piping systems (not building services piping systems) and, therefore, exempt from approval in accordance with Section 102.10 of the building code.

(B) Delete all subsequent sections, subsections, exceptions, tables and figures in Chapter 14 of the referenced model code.
