Section 3772-10-09 - Complimentaries

(A) In addition to the limits on promotional credits in section 3772.23 of the Revised Code, each casino operator's internal controls must include the following:
(1) Procedures for the authorization,
issuance, and recording of complimentaries, including cash and non-cash gifts.
These internal controls must include the delegation of authority to approve
the issuance of complimentaries and the limits that apply to this authority,
including limits based on proper separation of duties and limits based on
relationships between the authorizer and recipient;
(2) Procedures for ensuring that
complimentaries are not provided to members of the Ohio voluntary exclusion
program or those on the commission's involuntary
exclusion list; and
(3)
Procedures for auditing complimentaries.
(B) All complimentaries paid in cash must be disbursed directly to the patron by a gaming cashier at the cage after receipt of appropriate documentation.
