Section 3769-16-08 - Deliver to paddock

Any horse that has been claimed shall, after the race has been contested, be taken to the paddock for delivery to the claimant by the trainer who entered the horse in the race or his designated representative. The successful claimant or designated representative shall be allowed to measure the hopples and overcheck of the claimed horse immediately following the race.
