Chapter 3745-66 - Closure and Post-Closure Under Interim Standards
Section 3745-66-15 - Certification of closure

Within sixty days after completion of closure of each surface impoundment, waste pile, land treatment, landfill unit, and storage area, and within sixty days after completion of final closure, the owner or operatormust submit to the director, by registered mail, a certification that the hazardous waste management unit or facility, as applicable, has been closed in accordance with specifications in the approved closure plan. The certificationmust be signed by the owner or operator and by a qualified professional engineer. Documentation supporting the professional engineer's certification shallmust be furnished to the director upon request until he releases the owner or operator from the financial assurance requirements for closure under paragraph (H) of rule 3745-66-43 of the Administrative Code.
