(A) Policy statement

The university recognizes a student may want to earn two degrees simultaneously as part of their undergraduate academic experience. Students may earn more than one bachelor's degree or associate's degree or a bachelor's and associate's degree concurrently.

(B) Purpose of policy

The purpose of the dual degree policy is to allow students who have completed the requirements for two degrees to be awarded two degrees.

(C) Scope

This policy applies to all undergraduate students. Each college may publish detailed implementation strategies specific to that college.

(E) Procedure

Students interested in earning two or more degrees are responsible to work with each of the individual colleges and/or with each specific program of study to insure all requirements are met in order to earn the degrees. Information on tuition and fee assessment for dual degrees is available from the treasurer's office.
