(A) Policy statement

The board of trustees of the university of Toledo recognizes that mandatory employee furloughs may be required to achieve spending reductions necessitated by institutional budget deficits.

(B) Policy

The university of Toledo may institute mandatory employee furloughs, including faculty, when spending reductions are necessitated by institutional budget deficits.

The president of the university of Toledo is authorized to implement mandatory employee furloughs, including faculty, when the president determines they are necessary to achieve spending reductions necessitated by institutional budget deficits.
