Section 3364-5-01 - Succession of administrative responsibility

(A) Policy statement

In the absence of the president, unless otherwise designated by the president, the provost and executive vice president for academic affairs shall be the chief administrative officer of the university. In the absence of the provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, the executive vice president for finance and administration and "CFO" shall be the chief administrative officer of the university. In the absence of the executive vice president for finance and administration and CFO, the executive vice president for clinical affairs and dean of the college of medicine and life sciences shall be the chief administrative officer of the health science campus and the vice president for student affairs shall be the chief administrative officers of the main, Scott park, center for visual arts, lake Erie center, and Stranahan arboretum campuses; and in the event that the executive vice president for clinical affairs and dean of the college of medicine and life sciencesand the vice president for student affairs are unable to agree upon a university-wide decision, the vice president for student affairs will make the final determination.

(B) Purpose of policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish a succession of administrative responsibility.
