Whenever a vacancy occurs on the UTH board, the chair of the UTH board shall immediately notify the chair of the university board of trustees and the university president so that the university board of trustees or the appropriate appointing authority identified in rule 3364-1-12 of the Administrative Code may appoint a new member as soon as possible to fill the unexpired term.
