Section 3358:5-1-02 - Political candidates and issues

(A) It shall be the policy of Clark state college not to endorse political candidates nor to take positions on political issues, except when direct community college interests prevail.

(B) Clark state college will not take a position on any matter of political or public controversy; however, college facilities may be utilized for political forums by individual candidates for the public purpose.

(C) An individual or group of the college is free to take a position on any matter but expression of that position must be taken in such a way that it is not being carried on by or in the name of the college.

(D) Personal letters or statements of the staff, faculty, or student body may not use the mantle of the college's name to support or gain wider circulation of the views.
