Section 3354:1-20-04 - Policy on health, safety, and the environment

(A) The college is firmly committed to protecting the environment it shares, and the health and safety of all members of the college community. The college shall:
(1) Establish and implement detailed
procedures intended to honor its commitment to protecting health, safety, and
the environment.
(2) Monitor and
comply with the extensive environmental, health, and safety laws and
regulations that apply to the college.
(3) Develop and implement training and
prevention programs to help minimize environmental, health, and safety
risks.
(4) Identify employees who
will be responsible for environmental, health, and safety issues; and take
steps to inform the college community how to report incidents and concerns to
these employees.
(5) Develop and
implement appropriate remedial measures, should an environmental, health, or
safety incident become known to the college.
(6) Communicate and coordinate with local
authorities, as appropriate.
(B) The president or the president's designee is hereby directed to take all steps necessary and appropriate for the implementation of this policy.
