Universal Citation: OH Admin Code 3335-7-34
Current through all regulations passed and filed through September 16, 2024

The primary duty of research faculty is to conduct research. A research faculty member may, but is not required to, participate in limited educational activities in the area of their expertise. However, teaching opportunities for each research faculty member must be approved by a majority vote of the TIU's tenure-track faculty. Under no circumstances may a member of the research faculty be continuously engaged over an extended period in the same instructional activities as tenure-track faculty. An appointment to a research faculty position should not be made to displace or make unnecessary an appointment to a tenure-track faculty position.
