Section 111-1-01 - Public notice of the adoption, amendment, or rescission of rules

(A) The manner of giving public notice of the proposed adoption, amendment, or rescission of any rule of the secretary of state under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code shall consist of posting the notice in the register of Ohio at least thirty days prior to such hearing.

(B) The form of such notice shall consist of a statement of the secretary of state's intention to consider adopting, amending, or rescinding a rule or set of rules, a synopsis of each proposed rule, amendment, or rule to be rescinded or a general statement of the subject matter to which the proposed rules relate, a statement of the reason or purpose for adopting, amending, or rescinding the rule, and the date, time, and place of the hearing on the proposed action.
