An applicant who has taken and passed the national board examination and clinical competency test or the North American veterinary licensing examination and has not taken the North Dakota examination for good cause, may obtain a permit to practice in North Dakota until the next examination is given. The fee for the permit is forty dollars. A permit expires on the date the next North Dakota examination is given.
