The local education agencies, public agencies, community-based organizations, agencies responsible for corrections education, postsecondary education institutions, and institutions that serve educationally disadvantaged adults which wish to develop and implement an adult education program may apply. The applications must be prepared according to the criteria prepared by the department of public instruction. The criteria for application development are contained in the North Dakota state plan for adult education under section 67-17-01-02.
