Section 67-17-01-01 - Purpose

The purpose of adult education is to provide academic instruction and education services below the postsecondary level that increases an individual's ability to:

1. Read, write, and speak English and perform mathematics necessary to attain a secondary school diploma or its equivalent;

2. Transition to postsecondary education and training; and

3. Obtain employment.
