(a) Benchmark: The local health department shall monitor compliance with public health laws and rules.
(b) Activities:
(1) The local health department shall conduct
inspection and permitting activities for state mandated environmental health
regulatory programs.
(2) The local
health department shall conduct inspection and permitting activities assigned
to the local health department by local rules, ordinances, or
policies.
(3) The local health
department shall monitor compliance with communicable disease control laws and
rules.
