(a) A facility shall employ or contract individuals as nurse aides in compliance with N.C. General Statute 131E, Article 15 and facilities certified for Medicare or Medicaid participation shall also comply with 42 CFR Part 483 which is incorporated by reference, including subsequent amendments. (b) A facility shall provide to the Department, upon request, verification of in-service training and of past or present employment of any nurse aide employed by the facility.
