Section 6700.4 - Inspection and copying of public employment records

Bona fide members of the news media shall be entitled to inspect and to receive a certified copy of those public employment records required to be made available to them by law[FN*] upon filing a written notice of intention to examine public employment records, as prescribed by the Comptroller, with the fiscal officer of the commission. Such notice should be received by the fiscal officer at least one business day prior to the date access is sought in order that the records may be compiled for the applicant. Notice forms prescribed by the Comptroller are available at the offices of the commission.
