Section 6661.2 - Definitions

For the purposes of this Chapter, the following words shall have the specified meanings:

(a) Office means the New York State Office for the Aging.

(b) Senior citizen services center means a community facility which provides to older adults a combination of services, including the provisions of health, social, educational and recreational services.

(c) Child day-care center means a community facility which provides care to a child aged 6 weeks to 14 years for a portion of the day, and less than 24 hours outside the home, in a facility licensed and approved in accordance with applicable local, State and Federal standards for child day care.

(d) Residential health-care facility means a facility certified under article 28 of the Public Health Law.

(e) Combined center shall mean an entity receiving or applying to receive funds under this Chapter.
