Section 6180.6 - Exemptions

(a) Upon a written request by a city's chief executive officer, the commissioner of the Division of Criminal Justice Services, after consulting with the Department of Motor Vehicles, may authorize the use of an alternative parking ticket if it is determined that the use of an alternative parking ticket is not inconsistent with and will not diminish the effectiveness of the program.

(b) Upon a written application of the city's chief executive officer, the Department of Motor Vehicles may authorize, for a limited time, the use of any notice that does not contain all the information required by section 6180.5(c)(2) of this Part.
