WHEREAS, By an Order dated the thirteenth day of October, nineteen hundred seventy-two, as amended by my Order dated the nineteenth day of November, nineteen hundred seventy-five, an Extraordinary Special and Trial Term of the Supreme Court in and for the County of Richmond was appointed; and

WHEREAS, By said order the Honorable John M. Murtagh, a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, First Judicial District, was designated to hold said Extraordinary Special and Trial Term of the Supreme Court; and

WHEREAS, The designation of the Honorable John M. Murtagh has been terminated by death of said Honorable Justice;

NOW, THEREFORE, it appearing to my satisfaction that the public interest requires it, and in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 of the Constitution, statute and law in such case made and provided, I do hereby designate the Honorable Leonard H. Sandler, a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, First Judicial District, to hold the said Extraordinary Special and Trial Term in and for the County of Richmond, in the place and stead of the Honorable John M. Murtagh.

I do further direct that copies of the notice of the designation hereinabove made and provided for shall be released and distributed to the general press.

Executive Order No. 28.1

WHEREAS, By an order dated the thirteenth day of October, nineteen hundred seventy-two, an Extraordinary Special and Trial Term of the Supreme Court in and for the County of Richmond was appointed; and

WHEREAS, By Order dated the nineteenth day of January, nineteen hundred seventy-six, the Honorable Leonard H. Sandler, a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, First Judicial District, was designated to hold said Extraordinary Special and Trial Term of the Supreme Court; and

WHEREAS, The designation of the Honorable Leonard H. Sandler is hereby terminated in view of the designation of said Honorable Justice as a Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department;

NOW, THEREFORE, it appearing to my satisfaction that the public interest requires it, and in accordance with article VI, section 27 of the Constitution, statute and law in such case made and provided, I do hereby designate the Honorable Ernst H. Rosenberger, a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, First Judicial District, to hold the said Extraordinary Special and Trial Term in and for the County of Richmond, in the place and stead of the Honorable Leonard H. Sandler.

I do further direct that copies of the notice of the designation hereinabove made and provided for shall be released and distributed to the general press.
