TO: THE HONORABLE LOUIS J. LEFKOWITZ ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK STATE CAPITOL ALBANY, NEW YORK .........................................................................................................................

Article I of my order and requirement to you, embodied in Executive Order Number fifty-six dated September nineteenth, nineteen hundred seventy-two, is hereby amended by relettering subdivision (c) thereof to be subdivision (d) and adding thereto one new subdivision, to be subdivision (c), to read as follows:

"(c) without limiting the foregoing provisions, any and all acts and omissions and alleged acts and omissions by any person occurring heretofore or hereafter in the County of Bronx in violation of any provision of State of local law and arising out of, relating to or in any way connected with the receipt, possession, or disposal of dangerous drugs by the Police Department of the City of New York, its officers, employees, or agents;"

WHEREAS, on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two, the term of the District Attorney of Bronx County shall expire; and

WHEREAS, on the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred seventy-three, the term of the newly elected District Attorney of Bronx County shall commence:

NOW, THEREFORE, I do hereby affirm and continue my order and requirement upon you, embodied in Executive Order Number fifty-six and dated the nineteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two; as amended by: Executive Order Number 56.01, dated the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two; Executive Order Number 56.02 dated the sixteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two; Executive Order Number 56.03, dated the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two; Executive Order Number 56.04, dated the twenty-sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two; Executive Order Number 56.05, dated the twenty-eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred seventy-two; and as hereafter amended; effective the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred seventy-three.
