Section 1.11 - Executive Order No. 11: [Continuing Order No. 10.]
WHEREAS, On September eighth, nineteen hundred sixty-two, I, Nelson A. Rockefeller, Governor of the State of New York, did make a certain order constituting Herman T. Stichman as a Special Commissioner to investigate, examine and inquire into certain matters, all of which are more particularly described in said order and which order is hereby incorporated herein and made a part hereof as if herein set forth in full, and did in said order direct the Attorney General of the State to inquire into the matters described in said order involving the public peace, public safety and public justice, and did request the Attorney General to do so by appointing the Special Commissioner as a Special Assistant Attorney General; and
WHEREAS, It appearing to be in the public interest that the investigation, examination and inquiry conducted pursuant to said order should be continued;
NOW, THEREFORE, Pursuant to the Constitution and the provisions of Section 6 and Section 63, Subdivision 8, of the Executive Law, I do hereby continue the constitution of Herman T. Stichman as a Special Commissioner to investigate, examine and inquire into the matters described in said order, and do hereby direct the Attorney General to continue to inquire into the matters described in said order involving the public peace, public safety and public justice, and do hereby request the Attorney General to do so by continuing the appointment of the Special Commissioner as a Special Assistant Attorney General, and do hereby direct that said investigation, examination and inquiry, and the powers and duties incident thereto, continue to be conducted according to law and according to the directions and provisions of said order.
