Section 2302.33 - Provisions of technical services

(a) The following are the specific criteria which the State Educational Agency has developed and will apply to provide assistance in formulating proposals and in operating programs to local educational agencies which are less able to compete for Part C funds due to small size or lack of financial resources.

(b) Special additional assistance-in substantially greater degree than to other districts-in becoming familiar with grant priorities and procedures, in planning proposals, and in preparing applications will be provided by the State Education Department personnel and by optional education program field representatives to districts unable to compete due to small size or lack of financial resources and in counties of the State where few if any proposals have been submitted or funded in the previous year.

(c) The criteria to qualify for this aid are that such districts must have:

EITHER

1975-1976 Enrollment less than 1500 pupils and full valuation for

1975-76 aid less than $25,000 per pupil;

OR

Any enrollment and full valuation less than $20,000 per pupil;

AND

Received no title III or title IV-C grant previously.
