Section 302.15 - Waiver of application fee and tuition for students enrolled in certain programs

(a) The application fee and tuition may be waived by the chancellor, or his designee, for students enrolled in State University educational opportunity programs, or similar programs as certified by the chancellor or his designee.

(b) The application fee may be waived by the chancellor, or his designee, for New York State residents who are graduates, with an associate degree, of a State University of New York two-year college, including the community colleges operating within the program of the University, and who apply to continue their education at a senior campus of the University.

(c) The application fee and tuition may be waived for students in State University programs sponsored and funded by ACTION, an agency of the Federal government, or for students engaged in similar programs as certified by the chancellor, or his designee, effective with respect to the 1977-78 academic year and thereafter.
