Part 162 - Tuition Awards For Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Afghanistan And Other Eligible Combat Veterans: Approval Requirements For Vocational Training Programs
Section 162.2 - Definitions

As used in this Part:

(a) Vocational training programs shall mean noncredit vocational training programs offered by an eligible agency which are of at least 320 clock hours in length, and which meet standards of instructional quality prescribed by the commissioner.

(b) Eligible agencies shall mean institutions of higher and professional education, registered private business schools, licensed private schools, and other postsecondary and secondary agencies which offer vocational training programs and have been approved for funding by the commissioner.

(c) Noncredit programs shall mean programs for which no credit toward a degree is awarded to the Vietnam veteran by the institution offering the program.

(d) Record of placement of completers shall mean a record of the number of students completing a vocational training program and the number who obtain employment directly related to the training provided.
