Part 153 - Special Apportionment For School-community Interaction Umbrella Programs In The 1973-74 School Year
Section 153.1 - Scope of the part

The purpose of this Part is to implement a provision of chapter 1 of the Laws of 1974, to provide financial assistance to the City School District of the City of New York during the 1973-74 school year for the continuation of three school-community interaction umbrella programs, known as "Umbrella 2-- Curriculum and Teacher Growth", "Umbrella 4--Basic Skills" and "Umbrella 5-- Communications", and their components, subject to regulations promulgated by the Commissioner of Education and the board of education of such school district. Funds appropriated by the Legislature for the purposes of this Part shall be apportioned to such school district in accordance with the provisions of this Part.
