Section 150.3 - Definition and report of enrollment

Nonpublic institutions of higher education eligible for State aid pursuant to section 6402 of the Education Law shall submit the following information:

(a) A report of the number of full-time students enrolled in each class year in approved programs in medicine and dentistry, with the count of such students being further classified into lower and upper divisions. A full-time student shall mean a student who is enrolled for credits, hours or courses equal to at least 75 percent of the normal full-time load for students prescribed by the institution. A lower-division studentshall mean a student who has completed less than one half the curriculum leading to the first professional degree. An upper-division student shall mean a student who has completed one half or more of such curriculum.

(b) A report in similar form and content providing estimates of enrollment for the two academic years next succeeding the report for the current year.

(c) Such enrollment shall be that existing on the 30th day after the beginning of the academic or class program year and shall be reported within 15 days after such day on forms prescribed by the commissioner.
