Section 149-1.6 - Supervision and evaluation by the commissioner

(a) All programs funded from the setaside for compensatory education pursuant to paragraph g of subdivision 12 of section 3602 of the Education Law shall be subject to the general supervision of the commissioner, who shall have the right to inspect the facilities and operation of such programs and audit the records thereof at any time.

(b) Appropriate individual records of each pupil with compensatory educational needs shall be kept in the school. Records of the operation of each program shall be kept by each school district and submitted whenever required by the commissioner.
