Section 145-5.2 - Additional financial aid

To qualify as additional financial aid for the purposes of subdivision 5 of Education Law, section 6405, financial aid accorded to students by the institution shall be derived from funds, other than government funds, made available for student aid purposes, and shall be in excess of the amount of such funds devoted by the institution to student aid purposes in the 1980-81 academic year. Such funds may include scholarship and other direct grants, tuition and fee waivers, tuition and fee remissions, tuition and fee exemptions, wages paid for employment or assistantships, student loans, room and board waivers, and any other direct support of needy students.
