As used in this Subpart:
(a) New York State tribe means those members of the six Iroquoian tribes, the Shinnecock tribe, and the Poospatuck tribe, who reside in the State of New York.
(b) Official tribal roll means the list of individuals designated by the tribal authorities as members of a New York State tribe.
