Section 145-1.15 - School quota scholarships

(a) Where a minimum quota of scholarships is authorized for the students of a specific school, under section 605 of the Education Law, eligibility to receive such scholarships shall be limited to students enrolled in such school on the date of the examination on which such awards are based.

(b) Where there has been a merger, separation or other reorganization of high schools, such that the number of graduates the preceding year would not provide a valid criterion for the number of additional scholarships to be allocated within the intent of the law, the commissioner may determine such appropriate reallocation of such scholarships as he deems equitable.
