Part 113 - Powers And Duties Of New York City Board Of Education In Determining Certain Appeals
Section 113.1 - Definitions

(a) Terms which are used in this Part and which are defined in section 2590-a of the Education Law shall have the same respective meanings as those terms have under section 2590-a.

(b) As used in this Part, appeal board shall mean the panel of three members of the city board designated by the chairman or president thereof pursuant to section 113.19 of this Part to consider and determine an appeal or, if no panel has been designated, the city board.

(c) As used in this Part, the term filing means delivery, personally or by mail, to the secretary of the city board.
