Apportionments
Section 3.39 - State aid calculations

Except where otherwise specifically provided for by statute or in other provisions of this Title, calculations made in the determination and payment of State aid for school districts, boards of cooperative educational services, or any other entity entitled to receive an apportionment pursuant to the Education Law, or any other law shall be made as follows:

(a) payments of State aid, whether partial or in full, shall be rounded up to the next whole dollar;

(b) totals and category subtotals of expenditures, tax levies, valuations, and revenues (including State aid) shall be rounded up to the next whole dollar; and

(c) pupil count components and subtotals shall be expressed to two decimal places without rounding, except that resident weighted average daily attendance, total wealth pupil units, and total aidable pupil units for operating aid shall be rounded up to the next whole number.
