Section 815.1 - Adopting order

(a) Pursuant to article 12 of the Public Health Law, the Water Resources Commission, after proper study and following a public hearing conducted by the former Water Pollution Control Board, held on due notice, hereby adopts and assigns the following classifications and standards of quality and purity to all surface waters within the Delaware River Drainage Basin, as hereinafter defined. Said drainage basin includes all land and surface water areas of the Delaware River Drainage Basin within New York State.

(b) This adoption and assignment of standards of quality and purity to the above-designated waters shall be effective February 1, 1963.
