Section 891.2 - Designated waters

(a) The designated waters are within the following areas:

(1) Jamaica Bay drainage basin within Kings and Queens Counties and including Rockaway Inlet east of a north-south line drawn from Light Inlet at the southeasterly tip of Coney Island peninsula near Manhattan Beach to the westerly shoreline west of Lookout Tower on Rockaway Point; and

(2) a designated area within Kings County tributary to New York Bay and bounded on the east by the west limit line of Jamaica Bay drainage basin; thence bounded on the south by Shore Parkway; thence bounded on the west by Fourth Avenue; and thence bounded on the north by the south limit line of the Lower East River drainage basin.

(b) The above-designated waters are located as shown on Map 1, section 891.7, infra, and as contained within the topographical or basin limit line on the reproduced topographical reference maps in section 891.9, infra.
