Section 671.9 - Enforcement

(a) The Attorney General, on his own initiative or at the request of the commissioner, or the corporation counsel at the request of the city, may bring an action to restrain or enjoin any violation of any provisions of this Part. The commissioner shall furnish the Attorney General or the corporation counsel with such material, evidentiary matter or proof as may be requested by either of them in connection with such action.

(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of any law, the venue of any action commenced or proceeding brought pursuant to this Part may be in the county of Albany.
