An environmental aide assists other environmental personnel under direct supervision to perform tasks including but not limited to collecting samples, making simple field measurements or observations, sketches or diagrams, performing simple calculations and tabulating data. The basic qualifications of an environmental aide shall be graduation from high school or possession of a New York State high school equivalency diploma.
