There are hereby established the following grades of environmental engineers, environmental scientists, environmental technicians and environmental aides: environmental engineer trainee, assistant environmental engineer, senior environmental engineer, associate environmental engineer, principal environmental engineer, environmental scientist trainee, assistant environmental scientist, senior environmental scientist, associate environmental scientist, principal environmental scientist, environmental technician trainee, environmental technician, senior environmental technician, principal environmental technician, and environmental aide.
